Ford and Dawkins won the WWE Tag Team Championships last year and held the titles for a few months. They dropped the titles to The Wyatt Sicks in July 2025. Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga defeated The Wyatt Sicks to become the new champions this past Friday on the blue brand. Solo Sikoa’s MFT faction has stolen Uncle Howdy’s lantern during the rivalry as well.

Tommy Carlucci suggests WWE should break up The Street Profits

Wrestling veteran Tommy Carlucci recently pitched the idea of the promotion breaking up The Street Profits to focus on Montez Ford as a singles star.

Ford and Dawkins have won the tag titles three times on the main roster and are also former NXT Tag Team Champions. There have been rumors over the years that the tag team would be broken up, but that has not come to fruition yet.

Speaking on Behind The Turnbuckle Studios’ The Last Word podcast, Carlucci suggested that Montez Ford could have a bright future as a singles star. He stated that he would break up the popular tag team and focus on Ford moving forward.

“I gotta think outside the box. I want to build stars. I want to build young stars. I would break up the Street Profits, and I would build around Montez Ford, because he can be a big-time superstar,” Carlucci said.

It will be fascinating to see what WWE has planned for Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford moving forward.
