Niven underwent an anterior disectomy in May, it’s a fusion neck surgery that involves the removal of a damaged spinal disk and then the fusion of vertebrae together to relieve pain. She entered an advance phase of rehabilitation and is healing now so she can return to the ring soon. Amidst her absence from the squared circle, she recently shared some pictures with her cat on X. She shared a very heartfelt caption with the pictures.

“I wish for you, The courage, to exist, Authentically, Just as you are, Perfect, Whole And pure,” she wrote.

Fans are hoping that Piper Niven heals fast and can return to the ring again soon.

Piper Niven provided an update on her injury after she got surgery

Fans around the globe have been missing the pairing of Chelsea Green and Piper Niven on SmackDown. After getting sidelined due to a serious injury she suffered back in August, Niven underwent surgery in May this year. Following the procedure, Niven took to X to update her fans about her health.

“I went to California and all I got was this lousy anterior discectomy. 😆 I have so much I want to say about the past 8 months but we can get to that later. For now, I just want to express my endless love and gratitude for every single soul that has helped me and cared for me during this difficult and really scary time. Pain and heartbreak are incredible teachers and the lessons I have learned from this will stay with me forever. I am so grateful to wake up from surgery already feeling better and I know I am coming out the other side of this so much stronger for the experience. Lots of love P x,”

It’s always unfortunate when a wrestler gets sidelined due to injury and have to get a surgery.
