The stakes could not be higher as the two men prepare for another war. The Original Tribal Chief and the Samoan Werewolf will run it back in a Tribal Combat Match at Clash in Italy on May 31, 2026.
The rules are simple: If Roman Reigns loses, he would have to hand over the Ula Fala to Jacob Fatu. However, if Jacob Fatu loses, he would have to acknowledge the Head of the Table and join the Bloodline.
Ahead of the marquee show, Jacob Fatu injured his back during a Street Fight against Solo Sikoa at the Liverpool show. WWE is confident he will be ready in time for Clash in Italy, but is also looking into potential creative pivots if he doesn’t get medically cleared.
According to Cory Hays of False Finish, there’s no word yet on whether he will be replaced at the last-minute since the match is set to be contested under Tribal Combat Rules.
“No clue especially since it’s supposed to be Tribal Combat.”

Will Jacob Fatu get suspended from WWE?
Jacob Fatu has left Adam Pearce with no choice but to fire him, especially after he laid hands on the RAW General Manager at Backlash. However, Roman Reigns doesn’t want to let his cousin get off easy.
Speaking on WWE’s YouTube channel, Big E explained why the Samoan Werewolf shouldn’t be suspended.
“I don’t believe Jacob should be suspended. But the question of who the villain is going in, look I think we have, we have seen some crowds that are bloodthirsty. And if you are looking for blood, Jacob is going to bring that. If you want some mayhem? He is the one to deliver that. You know, I think that Roman is always going to be adored. He is always going to be, we are gonna see a lot of ones up in the air. But when it comes time for that match, I think a lot of the crowd is going to be behind Jacob Fatu. Because he is going to bring something chaotic.”
The Usos have tried to talk Fatu out of going after Reigns, but the 34-year-old star is hell-bent on tearing apart the Bloodline.
