It will be interesting to see if Lesnar does play a part in the show in Saudi Arabia, and if he does, Uso could be walking out as the King of the Ring. Ahead of the show, Uso has already given himself a new name, declaring that he is now Mega Event Jey Uso now.
Uso is a former World Champion, and at present, he has the backing of The Bloodline, even though it seems that Jacob Fatu will only listen if he’s told to by Roman Reigns.
That being said, Fatu and Oba Femi could have an interesting few months ahead if he thinks he will be able to challenge Roman Reigns after King of the Ring.
Will Jey Uso challenge Cody Rhodes?
The current situation is quite interesting because Jey Uso is clearly not happy with the power switch in The Bloodline, but he has also planted seeds that he could be set to challenge Cody Rhodes over on SmackDown.
Rhodes and Uso have had a number of interactions in recent weeks, and it’s clear that he wants fans to think he’s going after his long-time friend, but could then pull a swerve and instead challenge Roman.
That being said, there is also a chance that he doesn’t win King of the Ring, and it’s Oba Femi who is able to become the new WWE king, and he will then challenge Roman Reigns or Cody Rhodes instead.
It seems that Rhodes may not even be champion by SummerSlam, since he is in a triple threat match against Gunther and Cody Rhodes at Night of Champions as well.
