Jey was the one who initiated violence against Punk, despite Reigns wanting The Usos to leave the ring. That said, while the OTC is preparing to face The Second City Saint at WrestleMania 42, an impromptu title match on next week’s RAW could drastically change the main event of The Show of Shows.

The Best in the World has been playing mind games with The Bloodline, and it seems to be working. If Punk provokes Jey next week by dangling the World Heavyweight Title in front of him, The YEET Master could snap and challenge The Second City Saint on the spot.

While Adam Pearce may not like Punk defending the title ahead of WrestleMania 42, The Best in the World could accept the Samoan star’s challenge. Now, if Jey actually manages to dethrone the veteran next week, the main event of The Grandest Stage of Them All could change.

Instead of Punk, Jey could walk in as the World Heavyweight Champion, defending the title against Roman Reigns. That said, this scenario is only based on speculation, and nothing has been confirmed. It is unlikely that WWE would change the planned main event between Punk and Reigns, unless there is a strong reason.

Big E believes Roman Reigns could be at risk of ruining his legacy at WrestleMania 42

Speaking on RAW Recap, Big E stated that if Roman Reigns can’t defeat CM Punk without his cousins, his legacy in the business may start getting questioned.

“I think, if Roman can’t do this without the cousins, without the Bloodline, I am not saying his legacy takes a hit, I’m saying maybe we start to question it. You could argue the Summer of Punk, that was a lot of Paul Heyman, the 400-plus day world title run from over a decade ago, Paul Heyman was there for that, but much of CM Punk’s career, he’s stood on his own two feet. And I think that’s a lot of what his argument is, ‘Look, Roman, you claim to be the greatest to ever do it, you claim to deserve to be on the Mount Rushmore, I wanna see you mano a mano.'” [H/T WrestleTalk]

It remains to be seen how CM Punk responds to the attack by Roman Reigns on next week’s RAW.
