Extreme sports legend Travis Pastrana is getting back behind the wheel of a NASCAR Craftsman Truck alter this month, joining forces with Kaulig Racing to pilot the No. 25 Ram 1500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

“I love racing and competing at everything, and NASCAR is one of the biggest and most competitive stages on earth,” said Pastrana. “Having the opportunity to hop in the No. 25 Ram truck with Kaulig Racing through the Free Agent Program is an amazing opportunity. These Ram 1500s are so much fun to drive. We’re going to go out there, put on a show for the fans and see what we can do.”

An 11-time X-Games gold medalist and rally driving ace with feats simply too many to list here, Pastrana is no stranger to NASCAR either.

The 42-year-old competed in the 2023 Daytona 500, finishing 11th with 23XI Racing. He also has 42 starts in the NASCAR O’Reilly Series with a pole at Talladega and a best finish of ninth.

In Trucks, Pastrana has seven previous starts, finishing as high as 13th. His most recent appearance came in the 2026 season-opener at Daytona, finishing 15th in a Niece Motorsports entry.

His only experience on the Charlotte oval came in a NASCAR O’Reilly car, racing there three times between 2012 and 2013.

The No. 25 is the ‘free-agent’ truck for Kaulig, utilizing a variety of stars throughout the year. Tony Stewart, Ty Dillon, Colin Braun, Corey LaJoie, Parker Kligerman, and Carson Ferguson have all driven it while names like A.J. Allmendinger, Jamie McMurray, and Clint Bowyer will get behind the wheel in upcoming weeks.
