In a recent report, Fichajes claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to move in for Real Madrid winger Brahim Diaz. It has been mentioned that Spurs are eyeing a €25m move to acquire the services of the Moroccan wide player this summer.

Diaz’s Impressive Form In La Liga

The 26-year-old has managed to shine at times with his performances for Los Blancos in the final third during this campaign. Diaz has participated in 38 matches for the Madrid outfit this season, scoring one goal and grabbing eight assists in the process across all competitions.

The Moroccan talent is currently among the most feared wide players in La Liga. Thus, Tottenham would do well to get a deal done for him in the summer transfer period.

His current contract at the Madrid club will run out at the end of next season, which could open the door for Spurs to sign him on the cheap later this year.

Should Tottenham Hotspur Boss Roberto De Zerbi Snap Diaz Up?

Diaz can use his quickness to get in behind the opponent’s backline and is a decent dribbler with the ball at his feet. He has got the vision to create some inviting chances for his teammates in and around the opponent’s penalty area and can strike the ball with power from long range.

The Moroccan sensation is primarily a right-sided wide player but can also function as a left-winger or play as an attacking midfielder down the middle if told to do so. He already knows the Premier League well from his time at Man City and won’t take much time to adjust to life at the North London club.

We can expect Diaz to enhance the quality of Tottenham head coach Robert De Zerbi’s frontline. He is more than capable of challenging for a regular first-team spot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next season.

At 26, Diaz is about to enter his prime, which makes him a worthy target for Spurs to pursue this summer. With all things considered, De Zerbi should focus on going all out to snap him up in the upcoming transfer window as long as he can get him for a reasonable fee.
