Despite the overwhelming odds and the physical pain, Wren Sinclair managed to fight back. She dropped Grace with a crossbody off the top rope and delivered several stiff chops to shift the momentum. Charlie Dempsey attempted to interfere by jumping onto the ring apron. Sinclair quickly noticed the distraction and knocked her former No Quarter Catch Crew ally straight to the floor. Grace tried to secure a quick roll-up pin off the distraction, but the champion easily kicked out.

Sinclair immediately counter-attacked with a spinning flapjack. She instantly locked in her signature Final Wrench submission hold. With only 14 seconds remaining, Arianna Grace was forced to tap out.

Wren Sinclair successfully overcame the numbers advantage and retained her Women’s Speed Championship, extending her title reign to 103 days, in a massive statement victory at NXT Great American Bash.

It remains to be seen when her next title defense will be and who her opponent will be.
