Sami Zayn praises CM Punk

Sami Zayn and CM Punk have been in the trenches for the last few months and their rivalry is only getting hotter. Despite all this, Sami Zayn recently broke character to praise his rival.

Speaking on an episode of Busted Open Radio, Zayn said that there is something about CM Punk.

“There were times that Punk, to the levels he reached, I was like, ‘I don’t get how he reached these levels.’ Clearly, there is something about him, but I didn’t always get the hype. But after I got in the ring with him three or four times this year, you can’t take it away from him. Trust me, I would love to. I would love to just sit here and bash him for the next 10-15 minutes. But in the ring, I can’t take it away from him,” he said.

Punk would have no doubt loved to hear these comments and will look to act on it to become an even better wrestler.
