Every golfer’s dream is to win the Masters, but only a select few compete for the green jacket each year.

Of the four majors in golf, the Masters always fields the smallest group of players, as fewer than 100 players typically compete at Augusta National Golf Club. There are many ways that golfers can make the tournament over the course of the last year, or their careers, with the Masters representing the beginning of golf major season.

The 2026 version of the Masters will be different, as neither Tiger Woods nor Phil Mickelson will be participating. However, the field features plenty of big names regardless, with the Masters taking place for the 90th time.

Here’s a look at which golfers are competing for the Masters title this year.
