I think it’s safe to say the Philadelphia Eagles’ rooting interest in this game is clear. Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are gone, yeah. And the Birds obviously already beat this franchise in Super Bowl LII. But it’s still never fun to see the Pats win. No one wants more Boston sports success.
The Seahawks have sure had the Eagles’ number for some time but it’s not like these two NFC teams are bitter rivals. Seattle also deserves to be in this spot. They’ve been the No. 1 team in terms of point differential and DVOA for most of the 2025 season. They’re really good and not just because they’ve played an incredibly soft schedule, unlike the Pats.
So, yeah. Go Seahawks!
(For what it’s worth, Seattle is favored by 4.5 points in the big game.)
