The PGA Tour’s West Coast Swing continues this week in the Arizona desert and it’s time once again for golf’s largest party, the WM Phoenix Open.

Also known as The People’s Open as well as The Greenest Show on Grass (for its zero-waste efforts), TPC Scottsdale’s Stadium Course is hosting the tournament for a 39th time this year.

The field is stout, with world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler headlining the field. A two-time winner of the event, Scheffler is seeking win No. 2 in 2026. He won last week’s American Express before taking this week’s Farmers Insurance Open off.

Scottie Scheffler plays his tee shot on the 12th hole during the final round of the 2023 WM Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale.

Scheffler’s 20th win at the AmEx granted him a lifetime exemption on the PGA Tour. He’s the third fastest to 20 wins. He’s also the third player in Tour history to reach $100 million in career earnings.

Others in the WM field include Xander Schauffele, Viktor Hovland, Tony Fina, Wyndham Clark, Jordan Spieth, Billy Horschel, Max Homa, J.J. Spaun, Ben Griffin, Collin Morikawa, Sam Burns, Matt Fitzpatrick, Brian Harman and Brooks Koepka.

The Phoenix Open welcomes Koepka back after a four-year absence. His last PGA Tour win came in the 2021 WMPO. He made his PGA Tour return at the Farmers after being reinstated by the Tour under the Returning Player Program.

In addition, 2026 tournament chairman Jason Eisenberg announced Sahith Theegala, Joel Dahmen and Charley Hoffman have received the three sponsor exemptions.

The WMPO week starts with practice rounds on Monday and Tuesday. There’s a celebrity pro-am on Wednesday. The first round of the tournament is Feb. 5, with the final round set for Sunday, Feb. 8. The final round, barring a playoff, generally ends at 6 p.m. ET (4 p.m. local time), about 20 minutes before the start of the Super Bowl.

PGA Tour golfers in field for 2026 WM Phoenix Open

As of Friday, Jan. 30, 2026, there are 121 golfers in the field. The Tour announced that with Koepka playing the field will be expanded to 123 on Monday at noon local time (2 p.m. ET) with the first two alternates at that time being added. When Koepka got his reinstatement approved, the Tour made it clear he wouldn’t take anyone’s spot and that fields will be expanded to round out threesomes.
