#5. Female star spotted with The Vision on WWE RAW
Last year, Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman created The Vision on the red brand, and Becky Lynch became the first female star to join the faction. Unfortunately, the alliance lasted a few weeks, as Rollins got injured and the members kicked him out of the group. Later, The Man left the group on her own accord, and the group hasn’t had a female member since Lynch’s exit.
Earlier this year, Maxxine Dupri began appearing in the background of segments with Austin Theory and Logan Paul. At first, Dupri was having a conversation with the two backstage, and the audience was left wondering if the former Women’s Intercontinental Champion would join the villainous faction. However, it’s become more evident that the 28-year-old star could join The Vision.
On the recent edition of WWE RAW, Logan Paul and Austin Theory were seen leaving the arena following their six-man tag team match against Joe Hendry and the Street Profits. During the segment, Maxxine Dupri was seen in The Vision’s car and left the arena with Paul and Theory. It’ll become clear in the coming weeks if Dupri has officially joined the stable or not.
#4. The Vision will defend their titles at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event
Earlier this year, The Vision gained momentum heading into WrestleMania 42 when they feuded with The Usos. In March, Logan Paul and Austin Theory defeated Jimmy and Jey Uso in a Street Fight to win the World Tag Team Championship. The two have been improving as a tag team, but will soon face their toughest challenge.
Last month, The Street Profits returned to the red brand for the first time in three years and went after The Vision. While they were eventually stopped in their tracks due to Bron Breakker, Angelo Dawkins, and Montez Ford want to win championship gold in the promotion. On the recent edition of WWE RAW, Street Profits and Joe Hendry defeated The Vision in a six-man tag team match.
After winning the said match, the management granted the team a title match against Logan Paul and Austin Theory at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The show takes place a week before Clash in Italy at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Indiana.
#3. Shocking update on Brock Lesnar’s status amid WWE absence – Reports
Earlier this year, Brock Lesnar shocked the world when he lost to Oba Femi in a matter of minutes at The Grandest Stage of Them All in Las Vegas. However, The Beast Incarnate took it further and hinted at an in-ring retirement from the industry when he left his gear in the middle of the ring and left WrestleMania with Paul Heyman.
Multiple reports suggested The Beast Incarnate might be done with wrestling, or he might return in the coming months for a match against Gunther in Minnesota. However, a new report sheds shocking light on the 10-time WWE World Champion’s future in the industry as a performer. According to PWInsider, Lesnar might not be done with wrestling.
Previously, the 48-year-old legend was moved to the alumni section on WWE’s official website. However, the report stated that Brock Lesnar is internally listed as an active performer and a free agent in the promotion. Based on the recent report, there’s a chance The Beast Incarnate might return to wrestling in the coming months for a final match in the promotion.
#2. Penta defends his title at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event
Earlier this month, Penta won the Intercontinental Championship from The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio on the Road to WrestleMania. The number of challengers didn’t faze the newly crowned champion, who demanded to face them all, which happened at WrestleMania 42 in a Ladder match. After WrestleMania 42, a new challenge presented itself on Cero Miedo.
Ethan Page officially joined Monday Night RAW and began to stack wins on the red brand in no time. Last week, Page and Miro defeated Penta and Je’Von Evans in a tag team match. On the recent edition of WWE RAW, All Ego made it clear that he wants championship gold and wants Penta to put the title on the line in a match.
However, he wants it at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Indiana. Penta agreed, and the management made the title match official for the event. As of now, two matches are confirmed for the event in Fort Wayne. More matches for the event in Indiana and Clash in Italy will be announced in the coming weeks.
#1. Asuka bids goodbye on WWE RAW
In 2015, Asuka made her debut for the Stamford-based promotion under the old regime and gradually became an unstoppable star on the black-and-gold brand. Later, she moved to WWE’s main roster and won championships on multiple occasions under two different regimes. After over a decade of dominance, The Empress of Tomorrow might be done with wrestling for now.
Earlier this week, she lost to IYO SYK at Backlash in Florida. After the match, Big E questioned if this was the last time the audience had seen Asuka inside the ring. On the latest edition of Monday Night RAW, the multi-time Women’s Champion bid goodbye to SKY and spoke highly of The Genius of the Sky.
The 5-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion left the arena, and her future is currently up in the air. It’ll be interesting to see what’s next for Asuka, but for now, she bids goodbye to her former partner and the audience.
