Following his victory, Roman Reigns cut a promo while walking up the entrance ramp and called out Cody Rhodes. Reigns suggested that he was the most important champion in the company, and you can check it out in the video below.

“Now they know who The Head of the Table is, who the captain of the ship is, QB 1? F*** that noise! It’s The Tribal Chief!” he said.

Cody Rhodes defeated Gunther to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship at Clash in Italy. Gunther’s boot was under the rope after being hit with a Cross Rhodes, but the referee didn’t see it, resulting in a controversial finish to the match.

Vince Russo criticizes WWE’s booking of Roman Reigns

Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently shared his thoughts on WWE’s booking of Roman Reigns.

Speaking on Russo’s The Brand show, the former WWE writer stated that The Bloodline’s storyline has been going on for a long time. He suggested that the storyline had always been overrated because there was nothing else interesting happening on the show at the time.

“We’ve got this Samoan dynasty now going on for, bro, it feels like 20 years. It literally feels like 20 years, okay? Maybe the first time everybody liked it, and I’ll be quite honest with you, the first time I thought it was very, very, very, very overrated. I’m not gonna lie to you. We got a Samoan family, and this guy’s the chief, and that guy wants the power, and this guy wants the power. Oh, really? Oh, that’s really, really f*cking involved and mind-crushing television. Everybody put the original bloodline over so much because there was nothing else on the show. Let’s be honest, bro. There was nothing else happening on the show, so all of a sudden, the Bloodline became the greatest freaking wrestling angle in the world. The Bloodline angle was mediocre at best.”
