It further clarified that late June or early July is slated to mark the transition for WWE SmackDown from three hours to two hours. This was reported earlier as well that the show will run two hours, but the reason and the specifications from the Wrestling Observer set up many things. This is a fresh approach from USA Network, also to have their three hours booked with a deal that divides it well.

WWE SmackDown will see major NXT call-ups

Last week, Fatal Influence caused havoc in Fort Worth, Texas, from where SmackDown aired live. The trio of Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Lainey Reed received massive boos after being the ultimate heels in their debut. They interfered in the Women’s Tag Team Championship match, which ended in a no contest. Then they came out, with specifically Jayne, to challenge Rhea Ripley and make a statement on their first main roster show.

This week, Ricky Saints is coming to WWE SmackDown. It is unclear what he’ll do, but he will be a major player in some form. His debut is being hyped by Cody Rhodes, too. Even Blake Monroe will be appearing on the blue brand soon. Her call-up has not been given a specific date yet, but it will surely be hyped for a while.

Now, after such crucial releases from WWE, they’ll need to back it up with major stars filling their spots and holding strong to their grounds.
