The Las Vegas Raiders signed wide receiver/special teamer Dareke Young recently.
Let’s get to know Young:
Size:
6-2, 224 pounds.
NFL experience:
Young has played four seasons for the Seattle Seahawks. He was mostly a special teamer as he returned kicks and was a gunner as well. He recovered a muffed in a four-point win for the Seahawks in the NFC championship game over the Rams last season as Seattle went on its way to win the Super Bowl. He has four career receptions on six targets.

Raiders’ connection:
Young was in Seattle in 2025 with new Raiders’ head coach Klint Kubiak. He is the first unrestricted free agent the Raiders signed with ties to Kubiak.
College:
The North Carolina native went to Lenoir-Rhyne. He was a seventh-rounder in 2022.
How he will fit in with Raiders:
Young, who turns 27 in June, will mostly be a special teamer for the Silver and Black.
