In a recent video he posted on Instagram, Paul Heyman stated that he was pissed at not being a part of a WrestleMania main event this year. He added that initially, WWE had plans to have Seth Rollins wrestle Roman Reigns. The 60-year-old added that CM Punk vs. Bron Breakker was also planned for The Showcase of the Immortals.

“I don’t think it’s a big secret that everything was driving this year to be Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns, and then that fell apart. And then it was going to be Bron Breakker vs. CM Punk, and that fell apart. I was in line to be a part of the main event, and fate intervened not once, but even twice,” Heyman said. But as it turned out, The Visionary got injured in real life and was forced to relinquish his title. The Unpredictable Badass also had to take time off following a hernia surgery and has yet to make his return to WWE programming.

Paul Heyman will be in Brock Lesnar’s corner at WWE WrestleMania 42

Despite all the forced changes, Paul Heyman will make an appearance at WrestleMania 42, supporting his old client, Brock Lesnar.

On the February 23 edition of Monday Night RAW, Heyman issued an open challenge on Brock Lesnar’s behalf for a singles match at WrestleMania 42. After weeks of speculation, former NXT Champion Oba Femi answered the challenge, setting up a clash on The Grandest Stage of Them All. The match will likely open Night Two of WrestleMania 42.

Elsewhere on the card, Heyman’s stablemates Austin Theory and Logan Paul will join forces with IShowSpeed to take on the team of The Usos and LA Knight in a six-man tag team match. This bout is scheduled for Night One.

Many fans are also expecting Bron Breakker to make his highly anticipated return at The Show of Shows.
