WWE will host the upcoming episode of SmackDown at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The show will feature top stars, such as Gunther, Kevin Owens, CM Punk, and Chelsea Green. On its official website, the event’s host announced that Rhodes and Femi will square off against Breakker and Theory in a dark match on Friday. The bout will take place after SmackDown.

Last month, Femi and Rhodes challenged The Vision for the World Tag Team Championship in a dark match after SmackDown. The babyfaces won the bout via disqualification after Maxxine Dupri delivered a low blow to The American Nightmare.

Cody Rhodes Teased a Heel Turn on WWE SmackDown

Cody Rhodes lost to Randy Orton at Sunday Night’s Main Event after refusing to hit The Viper with a Punt Kick. The American Nightmare decided not to take out Orton after he begged for mercy. The 14-time World Champion, being a crafty villain, capitalized on the opening and beat Rhodes.

Rhodes appeared in a sit-down interview with Michael Cole on the latest episode of SmackDown. During the chat, Cole asked Rhodes what he would do if he were in a similar situation again. In response, the second-generation wrestler teased a heel turn.

“I’m amused at the fact that I need to change. But credit to your question, that situation is going to come up again. And when it does, I’m not going to make the same decision I made at Sunday Night’s Main Event,” Rhodes said.
