The Pagani Zonda just won’t die. It has been over a quarter-century since the Italian manufacturer unveiled the beloved supercar, an event that occurred in the previous millennium. Now, Pagani is unveiling the Zonda Cervino at this year’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.
The new Zonda, based on an existing chassis, features bespoke bodywork and an upgrade in technology. The car is a project from Pagani Unico, the company’s customization service.
The Pagani has a new suspension system that includes new dampers. The automaker wanted to “bridge the gap” between the Zonda’s analog feel and today’s performance standards.
The automaker doesn’t reveal the car’s specs, but it’s likely powered by the naturally aspirated 7.3-liter V12. The automaker will show the car alongside a Zonda C12S 7.0 that was restored by the company’s Rinascimento program.

Motor’s Take: Pagani’s Unico program offers buyers an endless ability to customize their cars, existing or new. The fact that the company can still work on and upgrade the Zonda is remarkable considering its age, but it is a car that Pagani just won’t die.
