The NASCAR O’Reilly Series is set to arrive at Talladega Superspeedway for its 11th race of the 2026 season. It is the first of two dates at Talladega, as NASCAR also goes to the venue in October. In 2025, Jesse Love won the pole for the O’Reilly Series race at Talladega, marking his second of four pole positions during the season.
First, the O’Reilly Series needs to qualify for the event in Talladega, and the qualifying format is simple. Every driver makes a single-lap run in the first round, which will determine the 10 competitors moving on to the final round. Then, those drivers will fight it out to set the top 10 spots. The metric system determines the qualifying order and groups.
