Manchester City take on Leeds United at Elland Road later today in what looms as another important Premier League fixture for Pep Guardiola’s side. City will be eager to pick up three points today to keep the pressure on Arsenal, but they will face a Leeds United side who can be a handful, especially at home. Daniel Farke’s side pushed City earlier this season when a late Phil Foden goal secured City all three points in a 3-2 City win. Leeds came from 2-nil down at halftime to make it 2-all at the Etihad. Dominic Calvert-Lewin inspired Leeds on that day, and Manchester City know they’ll face a tough test at Elland Road later today.
Here is the latest City injury news and my predicted Manchester City starting eleven for today’s match.

Latest Manchester City injury news.
Manchester City are getting players back from injury. Josko Gvardiol is the only City player sidelined with a long-term injury. Gvardiol remains out due to a broken leg. Besides Gvardiol, Pep Guardiola almost has a full squad to choose from for today’s match.
Mateo Kovacic has been training in recent weeks as he bids to return to the pitch. Kovacic has missed nearly all of this season after having surgery on a troublesome Achilles issue at the end of last season. The Croatian midfielder suffered a setback in his recovery and had to have a second bout of surgery to correct the issue. Kovacic is edging closer to a return but today’s match may come too soon for him.
Jeremy Doku has also returned to training. Pep Guardiola told the media yesterday that the dazzling winger is also on the comeback trail. Doku has missed Manchester City’s past six matches and his availability for today’s match against Leeds United remains up in the air at this stage.
