The 29-year-old got a thunderous applause from the Barcelona crowd, but The Miz controlled the action early. Axiom eventually battled back and hit The A-Lister with a Crossbody. The popular star connected with a Spanish Fly and then the Golden Radio for the pinfall victory.

The veteran competed as A-Kid before changing his name. The Miz has been involved in a heated rivalry with Danhausen on WWE television in recent weeks. Danhausen debuted for the company at Elimination Chamber 2026 and has already become a fan favorite.

The Very Nice, Very Evil star cursed The Miz’s favorite basketball team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, during their rivalry. The Cavaliers were swept out of the NBA playoffs by the New York Knicks earlier this month.

Roman Reigns is scheduled to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu in a Tribal Combat match at Clash in Italy. Cody Rhodes will also be defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Gunther at the PLE this weekend.

Former WWE writer criticizes Fraxiom

Wrestling veteran Vince Russo recently criticized the tag team Fraxiom and said he didn’t know who they were.

Speaking on Sportskeeda’s BroDown last year, Vince Russo suggested that he had no clue who the tag team was because he didn’t watch NXT every week.

“They had a long-a*s match between Fraxiom and Andrade and Fenix. They knew that their fanbase would get off on this match. This match was excruciatingly long for me. There’s no stakes, there’s nothing on the line.” He added, “It was six weeks ago when Fraxiom made their debut. I had no idea who they were because I don’t watch NXT.”

It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for the popular duo moving forward.
