The Ring General kicked off the year 2025 with a major loss to Jey Uso at WrestleMania 41. However, he got his revenge on Jey after winning the title back from him on RAW in June. He then put his title on the line against Goldberg in his retirement match at Saturday Night’s Main Event in July.
After ending Goldberg’s career, Gunther lost the World Heavyweight Championship to CM Punk at SummerSlam. He made his return in the Last Time is Now Tournament and won the whole thing. He ended John Cena’s career in December last year by making him tap out for the first time in nearly 20 years. He also retired AJ Styles at the Royal Rumble PLE in January.
The former World Heavyweight Champion has started calling himself the Career Killer. It will be exciting to see who will be his next victim.
