The actor took to Instagram to post a post-workout picture with Drew McIntyre and reflected on the filming of the movie in the accompanying caption.

“In the gym with Drew McIntyre. Good lad. Salt of the earth. Just finishing up the shoot on The Last Druid. We have been shooting in Spain since May. It has been two years now since playing Hermann Goering in Nuremberg. The long sweaty days in the beautiful Spanish sunshine have definitely been a great motivator. As I always say, it’s one layer of tissue paper at a time. Consistency is your friend.”

Now that he has finished the filming of The Last Druid, the WWE Universe will eagerly await his return. Only time will tell when it happens.

Drew McIntyre’s rival breaks character to praise him

Following his victory over McIntyre in an Unsanctioned Match at WrestleMania 42, Jacob Fatu sat down for an interview with Daniel Cormier. While speaking to the UFC legend, Fatu broke character and praised his rival.

“I’m not going to sit here and sugarcoat anything. I do want to give a shout-out because I feel like he brought the dog out of me no matter what it was, you know? McIntyre ain’t no regular guy. He’s a beast, you know? So it might sound weird, but shout out to Drew, though, for bringing the dog out of me yesterday, man,” he said.

Following The Show of Shows, Fatu moved on to a feud with Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship, while McIntyre went on a hiatus for his Hollywood commitments.
