The finals of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments will take place this weekend at Night of Champions. The winners of the tournaments earn a title shot at SummerSlam later this year in Minneapolis.

Morgan is the reigning Women’s World Champion, but is participating in the Queen of the Ring tournament and has made it to the finals. She will be facing IYO SKY in the finals to determine which star is awarded a title shot at SummerSlam. Rhea Ripley is the reigning WWE Women’s Champion, but is out of action with an injury. Ripley used to be a member of The Judgment Day but was betrayed by the RAW faction at SummerSlam 2024.

WWE analyst pitches wedding storyline for Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio

Wrestling analyst Sam Roberts recently pitched the idea of a wedding segment featuring Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio on WWE television.

Speaking on RAW Recap, Roberts pitched the marriage storyline and suggested that the two stars could have a royal wedding.

“Can you imagine the level of indecent control that Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio would hold over that show if they were the Queen & King of Monday Night RAW? If they were King & Queen of the whole roster? They would be impossible to deal with. JD [McDonagh] would be a Duke or something. That would be sick. Duke McDonagh. We could have a Royal wedding! Wow. We’d have to do it at six in the morning as they do in the UK. Or they could just do it on RAW. It would be the most huge, gallant affair that has taken place on Monday Night RAW. Massive. That’s who I want to win the Queen & King of the Ring – Liv and Dom.”

Only time will tell if Liv Morgan can defeat IYO SKY to win the Queen of the Ring tournament at WWE Night of Champions this Saturday night.
