The Vancouver Canucks play their final game before the 2026 Winter Olympics on Wednesday when they take on the Vegas Golden Knights. In net for the Canuck will be Kevin Lankinen. Wednesday will mark his 29th start of the season, which has seen the 30-year-old post a record of 7-18-4. Lankinen has faced the Golden Knights nine times in his career and has posted a record of 3-3-2.

As for Vegas, they will be turning to Akira Schmid in goal. The 25-year-old has 24 games so far this season and posted a record of 15-6-6. Schmid has only played once against Vancouver, where he allowed one goal on 17 shots in a victory.
