While McAfee is part of the WWE family, some fans consider him an outsider after being inactive from the company. Following the backlash, Lil Yachty was heated on X, formerly known as Twitter, and he aggressively responded to the fans.

“I understand yall upset but don’t try and step on my fucking moment, i’m at the tv screen every monday and friday religiously. i’ve been to more ple’s than most. i probably know more history than most of yall. who’s to say i don’t deserve to be apart of something i love so dearly?” Yachty tweeted.

Lil Yachty has previously appeared on WWE television as a ringside fan during live shows and events. He will make his WrestleMania debut, possibly accompanying Trick Williams for his match against Sami Zayn for the United States Championship.

Young WWE star wants to team with Lil Yachty

Despite aligning with a heel in Trick Williams, a young WWE star is still interested in teaming up with Lil Yachty in a match. Je’Von Evans spoke to Bootleg Kev recently and opened up about the possibility of tagging with the popular rapper.

“Yachty is chill, but he’s a crashout. Yachty is crazy and he can throw hands for real. Once it has to be done and you take it to that level, he’ll take it to the level with you. Me and Yachty would go crazy. He loves the high-flying stuff, too. Yachty is my dawg, that’s my brother. I feel like if we could get something that works, maybe we could make that happen pretty soon,” Evans said. [H/T Fightful]

The potential tag team match will have to wait since Yachty needs to train if he wants to follow in the footsteps of Stephen Amell, Bad Bunny, Jelly Roll and IShowSpeed.
