Evans used his speed to catch Theory off guard early on. He connected with a series of quick arm drags and a springboard lariat, sending The Vision member out to the floor. Theory used The Maverick’s distraction to sweep Evans’ legs out from under him on the ring apron. He wore down the Young OG with heavy strikes, rolling thunder dropkick, and targeted submissions.
Evans rallied back, and in the ring, he avoided a TKO attempt from Theory. As the 22-year-old star launched himself off the ropes for the OG Cutter, Bron Breakker sprinted down the ramp. He intercepted Evans and cut him in half with a mid-air Spear. The referee immediately called for the bell, awarding Evans the victory via disqualification.
Following the bell, Breakker and Theory continued their assault. The former WWE United States Champion lifted Evans off the mat, holding his arms back to set him up for more punishment from Breakker.
Before Breakker could deliver another blow, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins rushed the ring to make the save.
It will be interesting to see what’s next for the Young OG and for The Vision as Logan Paul is back on WWE RAW.
