Another Terrell is headed to the NFL from Clemson.
The Atlanta Falcons selected defensive back Avieon Terrell No. 48 overall in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft, on Day 2 of the event on Friday, April 24, joining his brother A.J. Terrell in the Atlanta secondary. A.J. was picked 16th overall in 2020, making this a family reunion in Atlanta.
In 2025, Terrell recorded 48 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and three sacks as a junior for the Tigers. He is the fourth Tiger drafted through the first two rounds of this year’s draft.

Yes, Avieon Terrell is the younger brother of current Atlanta Falcons cornerback A.J. Terrell. Both played college football at Clemson under head coach Dabo Swinney.
A.J., 27, was the No. 16 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft by the Falcons. He was a former five-star recruit from Atlanta’s Westlake High School, the same high school his younger brother would later play for.
