Following the news of PAC’s passing, Wilson, who works as a backstage producer in WWE, paid an emotional tribute to his former in-ring rival on X.

“I love telling stories; my stories about Neville always make me smile. He was always laughing, and everyone around him was laughing too. That’s how I’ll remember him. I loved our time in the locker room. We had so much fun there. In many ways, that’s where Neville came to life the most. The guys all loved him. I tend to call people by their wrestling names. That’s just me. I never called him anything other than Neville. It’s just how I knew him. He always reminded me of the British Bulldogs: Dynamite Kid’s snap and precision, and Davey’s humor and personality. We say it often when we lose someone in our world, but Neville truly was the best of us, and that’s why it’s hitting so many of us so hard. He was a wonderful person,” he wrote.

Wilson, a three-time tag team champion in WWE, also mentioned that after his in-ring career ended, he would often watch his previous matches and made sure to revisit his bouts against PAC.

“After my career ended, searching for moments of clarity, I’d put on matches that captured my true happiness in wrestling. I’d always replay my matches with Neville. It was a time in both of our lives when I truly believe, in my heart, that we both felt so alive and at our very best. We had such a special, unmatched chemistry that I was never able to duplicate with anyone else. Saying hi takes a moment. Saying goodbye takes an eternity. You touched so many lives in such positive, unforgettable ways. I’ll miss you and love you always, Ben, 💔,” he added.

WWE stars paid tribute to PAC on RAW

This week on RAW, a number of stars paid tribute to their former colleague following his passing.

Former Women’s Champion Bayley appeared during a match between Lyra Valkyria and IYO SKY and was spotted wearing a black armband that read, “Ben.”

During a backstage segment, Becky Lynch was also seen wearing a Ben/PAC armband. Meanwhile, Penta, who teamed up with the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion in AEW, wore a kick pad with PAC’s name on it during his match on RAW.

In AEW, the duo was part of a faction called the Death Triangle, alongside Rey Fenix.
