Over the years, fans have seen multiple intriguing storylines, from personal rivalries involving families to scripted romance in the company. Here are four WWE divas who were accused of cheating on their partners:

#4. WWE Attitude Era legend

Sable has been one of the most sensational names in professional wrestling. She is best known for her time in the Attitude Era during a short yet memorable run.

She debuted in World Wrestling Entertainment in 1996 alongside her then-husband, Marc Mero. WWE even paired them together on-screen. But they both left the company in 1999.

However, Sable returned to the brand in 2003 for yet another short run; she had memorable bouts with Torrie Wilson, and she even became a kayfabe mistress to Vince McMahon. While she was on the road in WWE, her husband Marc used to stay home to take care of their daughter.

Speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Marc recalled a message he sent to Sable, given that he was upset that she wouldn’t take calls and that their daughter used to miss her.

Later, he realized how harsh being on the road was, so they had each other’s combinations so he could go back and delete those voicemails when he saw the top voicemail for a male, where he was talking about their night before. Here’s what he said:

“We each had a combination to get into each other’s phones, so I could call back and delete my message. I got to listen to this first message, which was a male’s voice talking about their night before and apologising to her. It was just really heartbreaking, like she’s with somebody else. It was later revealed that she had an affair with Brock Lesnar, whom she married in 2006, and they welcomed two sons together. They are still together to this date.

#3. Lita

The former Women’s Champion’s love triangle with Matt Hardy and Edge is one of the most controversial angles of all time, which was turned into an on-screen storyline.

In the 2000s, while Lita and The Hardy Boyz worked together, Matt and The Extreme Diva were a real-life couple.

In 2004, Matt was sidelined with a knee injury for a year, and Lita started traveling with her and Hardy’s close friend Edge. It eventually became a personal affair, and the two began dating in secret.

Things were controversial as Lita was dating Matt, and the Rated-R Superstar was married at that time. Still, Hardy found out about the betrayal; he spilled it all online, exposing his close friend and girlfriend for backstabbing him.

This led WWE to release Matt Hardy for unprofessional behavior. But they brought him back after fans revolted, chanting “We want Matt”, and turned their real-life situation into an on-screen storyline.

#2. Melina

John Morrison was one of the promising stars when he arrived in WWE. Given his unique wrestling style, he looked like a future main-eventer. While in the Stamford-based promotion, he also dated Melina.

But things turned controversial as Melina allegedly cheated Morrison with Batista, which was a topic of gossip backstage. While The Animal was not affected by the controversy, as he was already a top star, Vince McMahon reportedly gave up on John.

#1. Affair with John Cena

Speaking on F2WOnline, ex-WWE star Victoria finally admitted that she had an affair with multi-time Champion John Cena while she was married but separated, but she refused the allegations of her being the Cenation Leader’s “Road Girlfriend”.

Here’s what she said:

“Anyone who I traveled with knows that. Because you learn intimate details about each other whether you want to or not. We [she and her husband] have separated a few times. One of those times that we were separated, I dated John Cena for about a month. It was not in 2006 or 2007. It was in 2002. It was when we were both in Louisville. I was married but separated. John Cena was single. I was never his ‘road girlfriend’. I know that when we were separated, my husband also dated a couple girls. That’s what happens when you are separated,” she said.
