However, she has since made sporadic appearances for the company and has been involved in producing and guest coaching roles.

Recently, the Queen of Spades took to her official X/Twitter account to join the ranks of WWE female stars, revealing similar stories of fans being catfished by people posing as them.

Baszler advised women to get a self-defense tool since the police haven’t been of much help.

“(Unfortunately common story incoming…) I have had SEVERAL people get catfished into thinking they are in a relationship w/me. They never listen when you try to tell them the truth. And going to police does NOTHING. Document everything and get some sort of security/self defense,” she wrote

A former WWE star revealed a scary incident

Deonna Purrazzo, who was part of WWE from 2014 to 2020, recently opened up about a disturbing incident where a man followed her to her wrestling shows, believing they were in a relationship.

The star also revealed that she calmly told the guy that he had been misled by an impostor online.

However, he continued following her. As a result, she had to report it to the police.

Surprisingly, she didn’t get any proper help from the authorities.

Adding to this, Deonna stated that this is the reason why she keeps firearms, pepper spray, and an alarm keychain with her. Check out her tweet here:

“Last August, a man drove 2 hrs from CT to meet me at WrestleCon, thinking we were in a relationship. I had let him down gently that he had been catfished. The next day, he drove back to CT to watch me wrestle at a local show. I called the Orlando Police to file a report when I got home bc I wanted it documented this man already traveled across state lines TWICE to see me. They told me since the incident didn’t happen in FL, they couldn’t file a report. This is why I train with firearms. This is why I carry pepper spray. This is why I have an alarm on my keychain,” she wrote.

Another prominent female star shared a similar catfishing story where her husband was falsely accused of abusing her.

This is a common problem that women around the world suffer from.

WWE female stars are coming forward to reveal their side of the same stories. This would eventually raise awareness among people on how to deal with such incidents.
