Speaking on Shelly Martinez’s Talking Sh*t, Martinez revealed that there was a person in WWE whom she had a crush on, and he developed feelings for her. However, he was married, and she didn’t want to pursue it any further. Shockingly, she found out he went through something similar with someone else, and the former Ariel was glad nothing had happened between them.

“There was this guy when I was in WWE. Before going there, he was somebody that I’d had a crush on. He’s somebody that I feel a lot of people wouldn’t think I would have a crush on. So, when I get there, he’s married. He likes me. So, we would like to talk a lot or whatever, but I would always say, ‘I can’t. No, we can just be friends because of your wife.’ There were times when I kinda felt bad, like I dissed him. It wasn’t until later in life that somebody told me almost the exact same kind of situations they had with him, like what I went through,” Martinez said.

Ex-WWE star had a crush on CM Punk

CM Punk started his career in the Stamford-based promotion almost two decades ago. While he did walk out of the company and didn’t return until 2023, The Second City Saint worked for all three major brands at the time, where he crossed paths with Shelly Martinez.

On her YouTube channel, Martinez revealed how she had a crush on CM Punk and wanted to hook up with him. However, it never happened as she got close to one of Punk’s friends. It’ll be interesting to see when The Straight Edge Superstar will return to the weekly product.
