After a rocky start to the LPGA season and three weeks off the tour has started a three-week swing in Asia, starting with the Honda LPGA Thailand at Siam Country Club in Pattaya Chonburi.
Nelly Korda was winless in 2025 and won the Tournament of Champions in Florida but most of the headlines were around how the LPGA handled the final round. Or, rather, lack of a final round and it was cancelled because of extreme cold in Orlando.

But that’s behind them and the strong field is in Thailand, although neither second-ranked Korda or third-ranked Charley Hull are playing. But World No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul is playing in her native country as are 21 of the top 25 ranked players in the world. Angel Yin (No. 13) is the defending champion.
Three of the last five champions of the event are playing, there are 12 sponsor exemptions—with one of them being 17-year-old American Gianna Clemente—and eight players in the field are from Thailand.
