For a long time now, there have been rumors about Baron Corbin making his way back to WWE. The star was always a beloved figure in the company for the work he put in and how safe he was as a competitor. His morose character after losing everything was one of the most well-appreciated gimmicks in the business while it lasted.

Earlier today, it was reported that Corbin had finished up his obligations with several companies where he had been working consistently, including MLW. The report went on to say that he had already signed with the company or would do so in the near future, according to internal sources.

Baron Corbin saw the report himself and decided to shut down the rumor, breaking the hearts of fans who hoped he would be back in the company. The star said he wished he had been told he was finished with his obligations outside the company, and that he would be returning to the company before he accepted new dates in Europe for 8 shows just a few days ago.
