The former Imperium leader recently took to Instagram to share a rare personal update as he posted a photo with his child. In the post’s caption, he mentioned that he was currently in Rimini, Italy, with his family.

WWE star Gunther broke his on-screen character for Cody Rhodes

During a recent edition of Cody Rhodes’ What Do You Wanna Talk About? podcast, Gunther broke his on-screen heel character to admit that he admired Rhodes for all the work he puts in.

The Ring General added that he cannot be like The American Nightmare, as he believed he wouldn’t be able to do as much fan or media interaction as Rhodes.

“I admire you [Cody Rhodes] sometimes for what you do, because I couldn’t. I would not be able to have that much fan interaction, to have that much media interaction, and all of that. And you do it really good. That’s not for me… I wanna be at the top, but in a different role and contribute that way,” he added.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion is currently in a heated feud with Dragon Lee. It remains to be seen what the Triple H-led creative team has planned for their rivalry going forward.
