He has since gone on to curse a lot of stars in the WWE and they have ended up losing their matches. However, Gunther has now taken exception to that and said that he does not believe in it and therefore, it does not work.

The Ring General was speaking to Complex Graps when he was asked about the curse and he said:

“That stuff only works if you believe in it. I don’t believe in it.” [10:55 – 10:58]

Gunther takes a shot at Nick Aldis

Gunther will be taking on Nick Aldis in a grudge match at SummerSlam. The former World Champion has been a thorn in the side of the SmackDown general manager for a long time and tensions have been boiling over for the last one month between the two stars.

The Austrian was speaking on the same Complex Graps podcast when he was asked about his upcoming match against Nick Aldis. He immediately shot it down and said that he was at the peak of his powers while his opponent was at the end of his career. He said:

“I’m the one that’s wrestling all the time. I’m in the peak of my career. His career is basically over and I guess it rejuvenates now, but it will be over at SummerSlam again.”

Nick Aldis has revealed that he is more than ready to take on the Ring General at the biggest event of the summer. The two stars seemingly don’t like each other and that has been abundantly clear. SummerSlam is going to put an end to this rivalry one way or another.
