KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The NASCAR Cup Series returns to the Kansas Speedway this weekend for the 41st time since the track first opened 25 years ago. This will be the 27th Cup race at Kansas since the track was repaved in 2012.
In four of the past six Kansas races, the pass for the win came in the final two laps, including three last lap passes.

Kyle Larson beat Chris Buescher by 0.001 second at Kansas Speedway in May 2024 in the closest finish in NASCAR Cup Series history.
Larson is the only repeat winner in the past 11 races at Kansas, winning three times, including last May.
The flyover for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race will be done by A-10G, 303d Fighter Squadron from Whiteman Air Force Base.
The Grand Marshal for Sunday’s race is AdventHealth Ottawa President & CEO Brendan Johnson.

If you are going to the ARCA Menards Series or the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series races on Saturday, it will be cooler with sunny skies and the high around 60 degrees.
For the NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, it will also be sunny with a high of 73 degrees.

Parking
Free general parking is always available in the grass lots on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking passes for the grass lots closest to the grandstands are included in season ticket packages. Non-season ticket holders can purchase parking passes while supplies last in person at the box office.
Gate policies
All guests must have a grandstand ticket regardless of age or the proper approved credential. Every seat at Kansas Speedway does have a back.
