A scary incident involving a girl being pinned by a golf cart at the PGA Tour’s Valspar Championship has apparently ended without serious consequences.

As the group of Brooks Koepka and Danny Walker played the 15th hole in the third round at Innisbrook’s Copperhead Course in Palm Harbor, Fla., the girl was struck by the cart. Both Koepka and NBC on-course commentator Smylie Kaufman ducked under the ropes to check on the girl.

According to Kaufman’s account from the hole, the girl was separated from the cart and did not suffer any obvious injuries.

“I just felt terrible. . . from all the reports you’ve got, she’s OK, thankfully,” Koepka said after the round. “That’s all that matters, as long as she’s OK. I know she’s probably a little scared and I just felt for her at the time. So, it’s unfortunate; it shouldn’t have happened, but as long as she’s OK, nothing crazy happened to her, then it will be OK.”

As play continued, Kaufman offered, “Very scary moment … I am sure Brooks Koepka’s head is still spinning a little bit.”

Koepka parred the 15th, but suffered a double bogey at the par-4 16th and eventually shot 71 to be tied for 11th.
