The four women named Lynn Crawford, Susie Matthews, Rose Sulley, and Christine Goodwin were travelling to Las Vegas to scatter Rose’s late husband’s ashes. When they boarded the flight, they saw DeReiss sitting in what they believed to be their seat. The nans were fuming at first, but calmed down when they realized that Rose’s daughter’s partner had accidentally messed up the seating.

The former NXT UK star was chill about the entire incident, and he even invited the women to his show, and they promised to come. After the women scattered Rose’s late husband’s ashes, they went to the former WWE star’s show the following day. Susie said that they were overdressed for the event. She also described the experience as traumatizing.

“We didn’t know what was going on,” Susie said. “We were all dressed up like Sex and the City, and there were thousands of people walking around with long beards down to their bellies and baseball caps… and there’s us, all dolled up. We were watching it and we were traumatised. We were like, ‘what on earth is going on here?’ They were flying out of the ring.”

Man Like DeReiss said he was at the merchandise table when someone told him that the nans had arrived and he couldn’t believe it.

“I was at the merch table when someone told me, ‘You know those nans from the plane, they’re here’. I couldn’t believe it. Someone went to get them, we had a chat, and then they carried on watching the show.” [H/T BBC]

Former WWE star Man Like DeReiss is already making plans to reunite with the nans

It looks like Man Like DeReiss enjoyed the women’s company so much so that he tried to track them down on social media after losing contact. Now, they are making plans to reunite again in London for another wrestling show.

The former WWE star said that people should try to strike up a conversation with strangers more often.

“I think we got on because our lives are so different, we found each other interesting,” DeReiss said. “We were both going to Vegas for completely different reasons. People don’t talk to each other enough. If you strike up a conversation, you’ll often find someone has an interesting story. Just ask the person next to you how their day is going, or why they’re travelling, there’s usually a story behind it.” [H/T BBC]
