The new and improved Nattie didn’t come out of nowhere, though. The vet spent some time working some indie matches, including GCW Bloodsport and Reality of Wrestling, where she ran into some exciting new competition. One of those names that left a mark on her was ROW’s Promise Braxton. Nattie congratulated her on her tryout on X, putting the star over as one of the best she’s ever scrapped with.

“Promise Braxton is truly one of the best I’ve ever stepped in the ring with. She pushed me to my limits in all the right ways, and that’s something I respect deeply. Her work ethic, passion, and love for professional wrestling are undeniable and it shows every time she steps in the ring” -Nattie on X (@NatbyNature)

Nattie claimed that Braxton was vital for the development of her new persona and wishes Braxton well on what could be the next chapter of her career. The pair faced off in ROW back in July, with Nattie forcing her to pass out to the Sharpshooter.

Former NXT star joins Promise Braxton and others in latest WWE tryouts

Braxton’s joined by an incredibly strong list of indie talent, including a former NXT name who’s back for another crack at WWE. Today, several indie stars have revealed that they’ve been invited to the February tryouts alongside Promise Braxton.

Former Coastal Championship Wrestling Women’s Champion Nicki Blackheart, former Viral Pro Wrestling Women’s Champion Arica Demia, and the Holy Queen of Indy Wrestling Fallyn Grey all confirmed on X that they’ve been invited. But there’s also a former NXT star who looks to be getting another shot at glory.

Notorious Mimi, formerly known as Sloane Jacobs in WWE, will be participating as well. Mimi jokingly commented on being cropped out of photos of NXT women by fans. Today, she confirmed she has a chance to “escape the flop allegations.” Mimi had previously signed with the promotion in early 2022, but was released by November of that year.
