Mooney hilariously played along and shared a video today while sporting his old suit. The veteran announcer stated that he had received many honors throughout his career and claimed that Lynch was one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. “To you, Becky, thank you for this award, this BEXXIE, as the best announcer of the year. And, may I say to the WWE, I still got it. Waiting for my call,” he joked.

Becky Lynch is the reigning Women’s Intercontinental Champion on RAW and will be defending the title against AJ Lee at Elimination Chamber 2026.

Major WWE star comments on his relationship with Becky Lynch

RAW star Seth Rollins recently opened up about his marriage to Becky Lynch.

In an interview with GQ, Rollins noted that he was already friends with Lynch before they started dating, and it made everything much easier regarding their relationship.

“I had been looking for the wrong thing this entire time and like trying to fit puzzle pieces into like the part of my life and none of them fit. And then once you get the one that fits, you’re like, ‘Of course, of course.’ And so, yeah, I mean, it was just an alignment of our personalities. I felt like we complemented each other really well. And we were already great friends, which is like kind of the foundation to any great relationship, I find. And so we didn’t have to build that friendship. We just had to figure out how to like be lovers and friends. And once we did that, what else do you need?” Rollins said.

It will be interesting to see if Becky Lynch can get the better of AJ Lee at Elimination Chamber to retain the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
