CM Punk Addressed His Appearance At WWE Worlds Collide

CM Punk opened up about his appearance at WWE Worlds Collide. The now-former Undisputed WWE Champion explained how overwhelmed he was feeling once again and didn’t have the words to properly express it after an incredible experience.

On his Instagram story, Punk wrote the following message:

“I find myself overwhelmed once again. I dont have the words to properly express what it feels like to experience such a magical night. I want you to know my gratitude knows no bounds. I am nothing with the fans. Chicago. I love you. A perfect night. Cultures came together and we celebrated. One universal language. Wrestling. Thank you to everyone who came out. All the hard work from the boys. Respect and love. Until next time. This fire burns. Always.”

CM Punk lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Sami Zayn on SmackDown in Mexico City. This marked the end of his reign after 67 days. He won the title in July 2026 by dethroning Zayn on Monday Night RAW.

Punk also prevented Kevin Owens from winning the Undisputed WWE Championship after interfering in his title match against Zayn on SmackDown. This week on SmackDown, Punk qualified for the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match after defeating Gunther and Finn Balor in a Triple Threat Match.
