Last week on WWE NXT, a doctor disclosed that Kendal Grey didn’t have a concussion. However, she was not medically cleared to compete due to vertigo and severe ear trauma. Tonight’s edition of the black-and-silver show saw Grey attend a therapy session. During the segment, the upstart discussed losing the NXT Women’s Championship.
“Look, it sucks. I mean, losing the NXT Women’s Championship was hard enough. Then I got vertigo, and now I’m not cleared, so I can’t even fight for what I’ve lost. I just don’t know where I’m going. I’m lost, restless. It’s like I’m stuck in this hole that I can’t get out of,” Grey said.
Grey added that she was unsure about her return time frame, saying she might be away from the ring for a year.
“I don’t know what’s happening. I don’t know when I’m coming back. It could be weeks, months, a year. I mean, I lost the NXT Women’s Championship. I was at the highest of highs, and in the snap of a finger, everything was gone. I mean, what if what if Kendal Grey doesn’t come back the same? What if I’m not as fast, not as smooth? What if everything that makes me me is is gone?”
