Dominik Mysterio sent WWE star Liv Morgan a heartwarming message on her birthday today. Morgan is currently one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside Raquel Rodriguez.

Mysterio successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship against Octagon Jr. last night at WWE Money in the Bank. The impromptu match was announced hours before the show following a confrontation at Worlds Collide.

The Intercontinental Champion took to social media today to give Liv Morgan a new name and sent her a heartfelt message on her birthday. Dominik Mysterio referred to Morgan as “MY Guerita,” as seen in his message below.

“Happy birthday to MY Guerita — the greatest Women’s World Champion of all time, the greatest 4-time Women’s Tag Team Champion, the greatest Crown Jewel Champion, and the greatest Money in the Bank winner! The list goes on! Felicidades, mi Guerita!” wrote Dominik Mysterio.

Stephanie Vaquer defeated Liv Morgan and Ivy Nile on the June 2 edition of WWE RAW to qualify for the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match at the PLE last night. Naomi emerged victorious in the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match and earned a guaranteed future title shot.

Former WWE writer claims Dominik Mysterio shouldn’t have won the Intercontinental Championship

Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently claimed that another WWE star should have won the Fatal 4-Way match for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41 instead of Dominik Mysterio.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s review of WrestleMania 41, Vince Russo claimed that Bron Breakker should have retained the Intercontinental Championship at The Show of Shows. The veteran noted that the rivalry between Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio did not need to have a title involved.

“Here’s my problem with this. You didn’t need to put the belt on Dominik. Now, Dominik is going to be in a feud with Finn Balor, and the belt is involved in that. Bro, the feud with Finn Balor is enough. They should have kept the belt on Bron Breakker to establish Bron. It’s on Dominik, and now, he’s gonna be in a feud with Finn, they don’t need the title there, bro. The title should have stayed with Bron Breakker,” said Russo.
