From November 2025 to February 2026, The Storm had ten matches in total, and only five were on television. The 33-year-old SmackDown star crossed over 100 days as the WWE Women’s Champion but hasn’t defended the title on the weekly product or at a premium live event.

Moreover, the five non-televised matches that occurred during the holiday tour were for the title. Cargill’s title reign has crossed over 100 days with zero title defenses on television. It’s a disappointing statistic for The Storm heading into the biggest show of the year in April.

Jade Cargill is set to defend her title on WWE SmackDown

Last year, Jade Cargill turned heel on Friday Night SmackDown and attacked Tiffany Stratton. The heel turn helped The Storm to defeat The Buff Barbie and win the WWE Women’s Championship for the first time in her career on the blue brand.

However, Cargill made fewer appearances and didn’t defend the title on the weekly product, which affected her title reign in the women’s division. Luckily, she was challenged by Jordynne Grace on the blue brand, and the two entered into a feud on Friday Night SmackDown.

While Grace didn’t win the Women’s Royal Rumble match, she was granted a title match against the champion. This will be Cargill’s first televised title defense for the championship she won in November 2025. It’ll be interesting to see which star leaves with gold.
