Now, after defeating the two-time Grand Slam Champion seven times over the past week, Danhausen has jokingly claimed that he is now a seven-time Grand Slam Champion in his own right.

“Danhausen wrestled 7 days this week in Europe and defeated The Miz 7 times which means Danhausen is a 7x WWE Grand Slam Champion. What a legend,” he wrote.

Danhausen has yet to compete for a championship in WWE, and continues to feud with The Miz over on the blue brand.

The story between the two stars is clearly not over, as The Miz continues to deny the existence of the curse, despite being affected by it several times. It now remains to be seen whether their house show matches will eventually make it to a major premium live event in due course.

Despite making a harshly criticised WWE debut at Elimination Chamber 2026, Danhausen quickly turned his fortunes around and is now one of the most popular stars on the roster. In a recent edition of his Grillin JR podcast, Jim Ross shared his thoughts on the former AEW star’s success in WWE.

“Good for him. He’s a young guy. And if he was ever going to have a legit chance to become a star, this is it. Yeah, absolutely. I’m sure now he wishes he had moved on that persona. He did, but he didn’t. And now it’s just too late. I think Tony’s probably more about the wrestling and I think WWE’s more about the revenue. That’s an interesting analogy. Can’t say as I disagree with it,” said JR.

Will the face-painted star go on to win a WWE title in the near future? Only time will tell as he continues to be as popular as ever with the fans.
