Damian Priest shocked the WWE Universe last week when he turned on R-Truth after the duo lost their tag team title match against the War Raiders. This week on SmackDown, the Archer of Infamy opened up about why he chose to turn heel and attack his best friend.
Damian Priest revealed to the WWE Universe the real reason why he attacked R-Truth. He mentioned that it was always his tag team partner who was offering title matches week after week, and he had to fight and get the win for the team, and that every time their team suffered a loss, it was Truth who got pinned. The Archer of Infamy also tried to politely part ways with Truth and focus on his singles career, but his tag team partner did not let him go. Instead, Truth once again got the duo another title match. It was for the AAA Mega Tag Titles against the War Raiders, and Truth was the one who got pinned in that match as well. Thus, Priest lost it and decided to attack R-Truth.
