Disarmed, Green cracked a cartoonish nervous smile but quickly managed to get out of the way of Michin’s attack and pulled the ropes down, thwarting Cargill’s attempt at darting towards her. A surprised Stratton hugged Green for the assist, but Chelsea had only gotten herself in trouble as she became fodder for Jade Cargill, who demanded that Nick Aldis make a match between them official on the same night.

Green took to X/Twitter after SmackDown to address the kendo Stick botch. Fans in the comments debated whether it was planned or an accident. Either way, they praised Green for going along with the mishap.

“Minor mishap w the kendo stick. We adapt & conquer. Hehe”, the post’s caption read.

Chelsea Green loses to Women’s United States Title Challenger Jade Cargill

Later that same night, Chelsea Green faced Jade Cargill in a match that she couldn’t win despite her best attempts. Green has had a bad run of results and a lot of misfortune since losing the Women’s United States Championship to Giulia on the first SmackDown of the year in January.

She would then go on to lose her AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles following an ankle injury that took her out of the title defence. Things only got worse for the WWE Star after that, as she made her best effort to show up on SmackDown in a wheelchair, but was without a significant storyline and material to work with.

As one of the most talented superstars on the roster, both in the ring and on the mic, Chelsea Green can go a long way if WWE’s creative team decides to take her character seriously. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like this will happen anytime soon, but fans can hope that it changes in the future.
