- Cadillac celebrates its inaugural Formula 1 season with a limited-run CT5-V Blackwing.
- It has an upgraded supercharger, making 685 horsepower and 673 pound-feet of torque.
- Production begins mid-2026.
Cadillac is thrilled to be in Formula 1. This year marks its inaugural season, and this weekend marks the team’s first race on American soil at the 2026 Miami Grand Prix. To celebrate, the automaker is launching a limited-run CT5-V Blackwing with even more power.
The CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series features an upgraded supercharger developed in collaboration with GM Motorsports. It increases the supercharged 6.2-liter V8’s output from 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet to a whopping 685 horsepower and 673 pound-feet
Cadillac will offer the sedan exclusively with the six-speed manual transmission. Each car also has the Precision Package, which includes numerous upgraded suspension components, carbon-ceramic brakes, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires. The pack is an $18,000 upgrade on the standard Blackwing.
Each car wears Midnight Stone Frost Exterior paint. Cadillac pairs the color with Carbon Flash Metallic wheels, gloss-black exterior badging, monochromatic crests, and Harbor Gray Metallic brake calipers. The carbon-fiber lower bodywork features a Switchblade Silver pinstripe.

The Blackwing also has plenty of subtle (but noticeable) Formula 1 and FIA branding, including the F1 logo embossed on the lower front doors. The rear spoiler features both logos, while the FIA logo adorns the rocker panels.
Inside, the sill plates read “Cadillac Formula 1,” and there are embossed F1 seat graphics. The six-speed manual shifter features a special F1 medallion. Under the hood, the supercharger cover includes a CNC-machined F1 logo and a laser-etched FIA logo.
Cadillac will begin production of the CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series in mid-2026, selling it in the United States and Canada. Production is limited to just 26 examples. The automaker has not announced pricing, but we expect Cadillac to charge a premium.
A regular CT5-V Blackwing with the Precision Package and both Carbon Fiber Packages costs $135,175. We wouldn’t be surprised if the CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series surpasses $150,000 with the upgraded supercharger—but we won’t know for sure until it hits dealerships.
The question is: How much would you be willing to pay for a 685-horsepower sedan with a six-speed manual transmission and a few F1 logos?

Motor1’s Take: The Formula 1 logos and FIA branding are a bit cringe, but at least they are subtle. They are worth it for the extra horsepower under the hood.
